The resort is open since the 1990s, keeping in mind the comforts of our esteemed guests and valuable suggestions given by them over this long time, Green Valley Resort has now been reinvented with a new look.Green Valley Resort is located at Uttarey (2,320m) in west Sikkim, amidst the pristine valley surrounded by hilltops, waterfalls,evergreen forests and ideal home for nature lovers and holiday seekers. Green Valley Resort takes care of your food and lodging at Uttarey and extends all assistance during your stay. The hotel takes care of your requirements for treks and tours in Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal. We also handle block booking for large groups with kitchen facilities. The Green Valley Resort family, the resort is owned by a local at Uttarey, west Sikkim.
The objectives of the resort are :
To cater services to all section of the tourist/ trekkers, and ensure the visit suitably for all pockets.
Provide employment opportunities to school dropouts, especially from poor families of the rural village.
The staff is well trained by the proprietor Mr. S.B Subba and they are engaged in the resort on profit sharing basis.
